Casino officials confirmed that a Las Vegas local won $40,000 with four aces and a kicker on Friday, Oct. 21, while playing video poker at the Rampart Casino at the Resort at Summerlin. The player was putting max bets on the machine when the fortune hit.
Just a day earlier, on Oct. 20, lightning struck twice for video poker players when one lucky player took home a $20,887 jackpot playing Wheel Progressive; and another lucky winner hit for $20,000 while playing Triple Double Bonus Poker.
