Ocean Casino Resort has been honored with the Players Choice Award after claiming the most Best of Gaming Awards in the Atlantic City market. Its continued pursuit of excellence is evident not only in its service and amenities, but also in its forward momentum.
This summer, Ocean celebrated its 7th birthday with a “Lucky Summer of Sevens” campaign—featuring over $7 million in events and prizes, including a $1 million sweepstakes, weekly fireworks and drone shows, starstudded entertainment and unique collaborations with local businesses. As General Manager Bill Callahan said, “Ocean’s summer-long birthday celebration showcased everything this property has to offer. In April, the resort unveiled more than $50 million in capital investments as part of its broader $270 million, seven-year transformation. The upgrades included over 500 newly completed Blu Rooms and Suites, expanded casino areas and a suite of new dining and entertainment offerings to enrich the guest experience.
One of the highlights of Ocean’s transformation was the $25 million investment in its Blu Rooms and Suites, completing a multiyear project that reimagined all 1,860 guest rooms and suites into modern, luxurious spaces inspired by the resort’s oceanfront setting. Designed with shoreline-inspired tones, calming fabrics and vibrant accents that reflect the Atlantic, the Blu Rooms and Suites blend style and serenity.
Ocean’s Flavor Wave
Ocean Casino Resort partnered with acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr to open two highly anticipated dining destinations, Chez Frites and Sunny’s, on July 18. “American and French cuisines have always been two of my favorites,” said Starr. “I can’t wait for guests to experience them at Ocean Casino Resort.”
Chez Frites offers a contemporary French twist on steak-and-fries with a prix fixe menu of steak, salmon or lobster, salad and unlimited golden fries, in a stylish space with seating for 150.
Next door, Sunny’s serves elevated American breakfast and lunch classics with bold twists, from Nutella French toast to lobster rolls, in a bright, oceanfront setting 11 stories above the Atlantic, making it a go-to spot for casual yet refined meals.
In addition to Chez Frites and Sunny’s, Ocean Casino Resort has expanded its dining lineup with several new and exciting options. LaScala’s Fire, a South Jersey and Philadelphia favorite, brings its signature Italian American comfort food to the casino level, offering starters like ricotta boards, cheesesteak egg rolls, and meatball trio, along with hearty pastas, gourmet pizzas and oversized entrees such as chicken parm and grilled salmon. True to its roots, everything at LaScala’s Fire is made from scratch, just as owner Rob LaScala’s grandmother did.
Over in The District, High Steaks delivers bold, flavor-packed quick eats, featuring premium steaks, a signature Wagyu cheesesteak and classic Philly cheesesteaks. For a lighter, refreshing start to the day, Blend opened at the end of May on the lobby level next to Eclipse Pool, offering hand-crafted smoothies and acai bowls in a bright, inviting setting perfect for fueling up or grabbing a bite on the go.
Next-Level Experiences
Ocean Casino Resort continues to expand its offerings with exciting new experiences. The Asian Gaming area has doubled to 8,000 square feet, now featuring 32 tables including Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker, providing a refined and elevated space for table game players. Shoppers can explore Sweetheart Coast by Sammi Sweetheart within the Shops at the Row, a boutique offering stylish clothing, home décor, accessories and gifts inspired by the Jersey Shore.
