Lady Luck HQ and Vegas Matt Bring Some Serious Slot-Star Power to Ocean Casino Resort
Look who’s heating up the slots floor in Atlantic City! Casino content creators Vegas Matt and Lady Luck HQ recently joined forces for their first-ever appearance together at Ocean Casino Resort, bringing plenty of personality—and probably a few cameras—to the Boardwalk.
For fans of casino content, it was quite the pairing. Vegas Matt has become one of the biggest names in gambling entertainment, turning his love of casino play into a viral sensation. His journey began taking a major turn in 2021, when his son, EJ, captured video of Matt hitting a royal flush. The clip took off, and the Vegas Matt brand was born. Today, Matt and his crew—including EJ and WBG, the World’s Biggest Gambler—have built a massive following with their high-energy, high-stakes slot adventures and plenty of laughs along the way.
Then there’s Lady Luck HQ, the on-screen persona of Francine Maric. What started as casual casino trips with her husband, Miran, eventually turned into one of the biggest female-led slot channels around. The couple originally shared photos of their wins on Instagram before fans started asking for full videos. That little side project launched in 2018 and has since grown into a social-media powerhouse, with Lady Luck now boasting more than a million YouTube subscribers.
Put the two together and you’ve got a pretty good recipe for casino-floor entertainment.
At Ocean, the influencers were spotted taking their shot at the slots—and making the most of their Atlantic City visit. According to the resort, when Vegas Matt and Lady Luck are in town, Ocean is their Atlantic City home base for both play and stay.
And the celebrity sightings didn’t stop there. Lady Luck was also spotted hanging out with former NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski, adding another familiar face to an already star-studded week at Ocean.
With the Boardwalk, beach and plenty of action, Ocean Casino Resort is a great place to spend a summer day. And with Lady Luck HQ and Vegas Matt finally sharing the same casino floor, fans got a bonus round of their own.
Ocean on the Rise
Big-name entertainment, fresh dining concepts and expanded gaming keep Atlantic City’s beachfront resort making waves
Summer may be winding down, but Atlantic City locals and those in the know will tell you that September is one of the best times to visit the beachside town. The crowds are thinner, the weather is still warm, and the ocean remains inviting—making early fall an ideal time for a getaway. At Ocean Casino Resort, more than 20 beachfront acres along the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk set the stage for a seaside escape filled with gaming, dining, entertainment and plenty of ways to enjoy the shore.
The entertainment calendar is still sizzling, with John Fogerty and Steve Winwood taking the stage Friday, Sept. 11, followed by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, performing Sept. 17-20 and Sept. 24-27. The lineup continues with Daughtry on Oct. 17, John Mulaney on Oct. 23, Steve Martin & Martin Short on Nov. 7 and Jo Koy on Nov. 20.
But the entertainment lineup is only part of Ocean’s appeal. The resort continues to add new experiences, introduce fresh dining options and refresh some of its popular spaces, giving visitors plenty of reasons to return as summer fades into fall.
A Fresh Take on Dining
Foodies have another reason to visit Ocean this fall when Zhen Bang Noodle & Sushi introduces patio-style seating. The new setup will create a more open and inviting atmosphere at the popular restaurant, giving diners a fresh way to enjoy one of Ocean’s in-demand dining destinations.
With more than 20 restaurants and bars throughout the resort, there’s always something tempting on the menu. Ocean’s happy hours and dining specials make it even easier to sample the culinary lineup while getting more bang for your buck. At Ocean Steak, for example, Ocean Steak Hour features discounted bar bites—a great excuse to grab a drink and a bite before heading out for the evening.
The resort’s dining scene offers plenty of reasons to arrive hungry, with standout restaurants bringing a range of flavors to the beachfront setting. Stephen Starr’s Chez Fritz serves its own take on refined dining, while José Garces’ Amada brings the acclaimed chef’s Spanish-inspired cuisine to Ocean. For a meal with a view, Linguini By the Sea pairs stunning ocean vistas with classic Italian favorites served with a contemporary twist. Add casual dining, nightlife and daylife options, including HQ2 Beachclub and Nightclub, and guests have plenty of ways to keep the good times going long after leaving the casino floor.
More Room to Play
Gaming remains at the heart of the Ocean experience, with a 135,000-square-foot casino floor featuring a broad selection of slots, table games and an expansive Asian gaming pit. Sports bettors can also get in on the action with land-based sports wagering through Fanatics Sportsbook, while New Jersey players can access online gaming through betOcean.
And Ocean isn’t done expanding. In January 2027, The Cove is slated to expand its high-limit gaming experience, adding another new dimension to the resort’s gaming lineup. Additional details are expected as the project gets closer.
