Turning Stone Raises the Bar with $400 Million Evolution

A new era has arrived at Turning Stone Resort Casino as the Oneida Indian Nation celebrated the grand opening of the first phase of its ambitious $400 million Turning Stone Evolution project in June.

The expansion introduces The Crescent, a stylish 258-room hotel that instantly elevates the resort’s luxury offerings, along with Salt, a showstopping new steakhouse and seafood restaurant. Also new is Rome Health Convenient Care at Turning Stone, providing quality healthcare for team members, guests and the surrounding community.

The Crescent, now the resort’s fourth hotel, blends sophisticated design with upscale amenities and offers easy access to Turning Stone’s renowned gaming, golf, spas, entertainment and dining. Guests are welcomed by the beautifully landscaped Crescent Park and can browse Oneida Sky, featuring handcrafted artwork and gifts created by Oneida artisans, or grab a quick bite at The Pantry café.

The real culinary buzz, however, surrounds Salt. Spanning the entire seventh floor of The Crescent, the restaurant pairs premium steaks and fresh seafood with sweeping views of the Mohawk Valley from two expansive outdoor terraces. Four private dining rooms and an inviting atmosphere make it equally suited for celebrations, business dinners and memorable nights out. The concept was developed with celebrated restaurateur Elizabeth Blau, whose portfolio includes some of Las Vegas’ most acclaimed dining destinations, bringing world-class flair to Upstate New York.

And the transformation isn’t over yet. By Labor Day, Turning Stone will debut The Grand Expo, doubling its convention and meeting space to an impressive 225,000 square feet and officially becoming New York’s largest meetings and convention resort. Together, the additions reinforce Turning Stone’s reputation as one of the Northeast’s premier resort destinations while creating new tourism, business and employment opportunities across the region.
